If you want to, you could vote socialist alliance - then you could be one of those really annoying people who turn up at every single kind of protest holding socialist alliance banners when the protest has NOTHING TO DO WITH POLITICAL PARTIES... very annoying

Has anyone noticed how Howard is trying to get the votes of the elderly while Rudd is targeting the younger generations?

Howard always goes for the grey vote - It's easy for him to appeal to them because everyone else his age is as racsist and close-minded as him.

yeah.. No. Not in my mind. Ha.

Greens.. My parents have told me to never, ever vote for the Greens.. They've told me numerous times the reasons why, but I keep forgetting. If Peter Garrett wouldn't join the Greens, and he's very environmentalist, then yeah.

I really disrespect Howard.. How had is it to say 'sorry' to the Indigenous populations? Not very hard.

And radiojake, I know many people older than him that are no where near as close-minded as him, like my grandmother.

There were two at one point for some obscure reason.

I seem to recall reading of a "Lower Excise (sp?) on Fuel and Beer Party".
How pointlessly specific is that? :?

That seriously is weird. Why would you want to cut down on Beer? I know Fuel, but BEER?

Oh no, they just want to cut down on the cost of importing beer and fuel. That's all they do.

You are right with Garrett. Why would someone with that many environmental political songs with Midnight Oil end up joining the Labour Party? Fucking sellout--

But yes, just cos im not voting Labour means ill be voting Liberal

I LOVE TWO PARTY SYSTEM!! WHO DO I WANT?
THE GREEDY ARSEHOLE ON THE RIGHT OR THE OTHER GREEDY ARSEHOLE ON THE RIGHT?

your right about that, 30 odd billion in tax cuts is not what we need right now.

I'm flip-flopping on Liberal, Labor and a dummy vote.

I like Costello (SHOCK!). I don't like Howard, and I hate Abbot (though hes a great speaker) for his right-wing authoritarian Christian values.

Labor is a campaign of popularism and slogans. Whoo.

Dummy vote (like I did for the local election) means my vote doesn't count. But should I care when I'm voting between nearly identical policies?

Skittles! wrote:I wish Australia still had a Communist party. You should vote for that

We have more than enough socialist parties to go around thank-you-very-much. And they're all nutters.

Though they would abolish my HECS fees... :D

i'm Christian but i'm probably up with the separation of church and state, that said if they get elected then its not like you can say its wrong, it just means they represent all the folk with the same viewpoint, as they should. I tend to be more left wing then family first, and more right wing then the democrats, so i really don't know who to vote for, i would straight away vote for the party that opposed 30 billion in tax cuts, but what can you do.
