learn to write programs in the calculator.

Its fairly easy to do and you can make some very complicated stuff happen if you are good enough at it. Plus, its a great timewaster in math class

I have one, but I haven't even taken it out of the box. The damn book on it is huge. I didn't buy the thing someone gave it to me.
I thought it was a very fancy way to cheat on your math homework.

I have Halo 3 on my TI-83. Unfortunately it's not upwards compatible with your 84...

No dude, I have it on my 84, but it doesn't work on the silver addition so he is still sol.

I knew it would work on the regular 84, but I didn't bother to specify since he said he had a Silver Edition. I just assumed he would take what I said at face value.
