Halloween- store bought vs homemade costumes

Postby Hitman079 on Sun Oct 28, 2007 2:25 pm

well? i personally think homemade is always best, because the store-bought ones are always of such poor quality, and you can just tell it's not real or anything at all. nothing original, just the superheroes cops and and sexy versions of costumes (nurse, french maid, prisoner, etc) and whatnot. homemade is best for original costumes and i think they always come out much better than a store-bought.

sometimes you can do better stuff if you make them yourselves. Usually you can buy just about anything in most of the stores, but it may not necessarily fit right or look the way you want it to. That and i think a lot of people have fun putting all the stuff together.

Our house did some of the family guy cast, and i dont know if we could have gotten most of the stuff at a store, and have it look as it did. It just takes a little more time thatas all.

But if you go to COstume shops, they generally have a good selection. This year, I'm going to be a biker.

who needs a costume?

just unfocus your eyes, stare into nowhere, cock your head to one side,
let your tongue hang slightly out of your mouth and shuffle towards the nearest person.

creeps the hell out of everyone i try it on!

a lot of teens trick or treat in my little suburb, most dressed as nothing; I did last year and I brought this huge ass bag that's supposed to be to hold leaves  but I'm staying home this year.

what happens alot is that someone buys this "amazing" costume from the store, goes out with his friends and 5 of them have the exact same costume.
