and yeah, detentions suck. I used to be in them all the time for not doing my homework. Still get passed off as a good student for even showing up, usually 80%+ of the people wouldn't show up at all, nor for the higher punishments, and as soon as it goes from major detentions (saturday morning) to inclusion/exclusion, they'd have to ask the govenors, who couldn't really see the point in excluding someone for essentially just not doing his homework.

Its odd how seriously the majority of Americans seem to take politics. I've never even seen a hint of political bias from any of my teachers, yet you seem to be practically being told who to vote for!

Ahh, the benifits of living in a country where no-one really cares about politics...
