As a well-educated person, many of us here do not share such beliefs, and you all making the same generalizations as the stupid Americans are doing just shows that none of you have any tolerance whatsoever.

I don't browbeat the UK, the US, or even fucking China. I certainly don't believe in calling followers of Islam terrorists or anything else.

Take a look at how all of you are behaving, because you look like a bunch of fucking morons.

Yes, you try and sit on the fence, not offend anyone and bump your post count whenever possible. I am 32 with 2 bachelors degrees and 1 masters. I spent several years at the best American Universities. Education is not an issue.

What I am complaining about is a very specific piece of the Euro-american relationship (my pet peeve). It irritates me that Europe loves having America as an ally and would shit their pants if we treated any european country like Iran, but even though they would do anything to keep America as an ally, they are almost universally opposed to everything the American military does.

I do not support the Iraq war.
I believe Bush is an ingrate puppet.
I think Afganistan is a marginal success at best.
I think American foreign policy is about the most dangerous political strategy in the world right now.

But I do not appreciate our "allies" spinning rhetoric and lies about the american military and the american people. When they have no idea what a good alternative would be. They love to complain, and hate to problem solve.

If I need to get even more specific, it is the BBC and European press that I rely on to get my impressions and opinions concerning European sentiment. The BBC was once a fantastic news organization that had integrity and self worth. Now it has gotten so bad that I rarely tune in. It seems every BBC story is designed to sway public opinion rather than present facts and news.

But most people who leave America, end up really missing the quality of life, the American culture, and many other small things that make America what it is.

part of the thing that makes america what it is, is the freedom of expression that we guarantee the citizens. Not liking the flaws of america certainly isnt hate speech, so why condemn it. It sets a precedent for social critique and change if you would rather have those who disagree leave. We arent always right after all, and many of those who dont like this country, love it for what it could be, a stance probably not too different that most.

I'm very OCD for the most random of things:

-Two different types of socks
-Both shoes are different tightness
-If I f*ck up while writing notes in pen, must start new sheet.

I never thought about it before but I totally agree with the above statement I hate all of those!

Things that also are pet peeves:

-Tags in peoples shirts that stick up. I always have to tuck them back in.

-When guys wait too long to cut their hair and they get messy on the back of their neck.

-Females that wear foundation that is 3 shades too dark and it doesn't match their neck so you see a huge change in color.

-Things not being organized.

-People that don't use their turning light signal when turning.

-People who take a picture and don't focus it, so it looks like crap.

-Being late to something.

-The sudden 100 threads "join my new clan, we eat fruity pebbles too" (not that there is a fruity pebbles clan YET, just give it time. I am sure there will be one someday.)

Anyone who is a risk fan has to love America.

This is what Europeans want to believe America is. They don't want to believe that America doles out more foreign aid to 3rd world countries than all of the EU combined. They don't want to remember that when Europe was on the verge of total destruction, it was the American Military that saved Europe. They don't want to remember that the only military attack on U.S. soil (Pearl Harbor) was a result of America pursuing a pacifist policy while shipping guns, amunition, and technology to Europe by the boatload. They don't want to remember that after the war it was America that financed the rebuilding of Europe.

I honestly get sick of europeans bagging on America, if it weren't for us you would all be speaking German so STFU.
