AA this has gone off topic but if you really want to do the AA v KoE 1 v 1 challenge it could be organised, we have in total 50ish members from cooks to colonels (literally) and everything in between. if you are just engaging in banter that is fine too - either way let us know so we can let our fellow members know of your individual challenge to our clan members assuming it is a runner. (personally I think you are daft as I have played a lot of 1 v 1 with high rankers when I win I get 40 / 50 pts, (56 off reptile a while back), if you win you get less than 10)

DW thanks for quoteing me, although I'm not sure how that quote adds to the argument in any way.

Either way folks, it's obvious both sides want this to go ahead so instead of fighting the clan challenge in forums (a challenge I would be much better suited to) can one of you guys either pm yorkie or chat with him on msn and lets get this current impasse sorted and the competition rolling in a format agreeable to both sides.

yea lets play real skill games, leave to 1 vs 1 games to less skilled players. Ones that need luck to win?

grrrr

There is skill involved in 1 v 1 yes first mover, drop, dice and cards all come into the mix but there still is a fair degree of skill and tactics involved. have a look at the the 1 v 1 tournaments these attract a broad diverse group of entries, yet it is the same small group of individuals that are making it to the semifinals and finals of these tournies consistently. Take for example Gilligan's bracket Tourney this is ongoing and is 1 v 1 esc. the players left in this out of 64 entries are more or less the same players i would have encountered in the latter stages in the last 2 point grabbers tourneys - which were chained and no cards. This to me shows there is much more than luck involved and just like any other game tye it has its own skillset and players who have to an extent mastered the game type.

I really don't want to drag this off topic any more than it already has been but the above comment IMHO is extremely unfair on players that enjoy playing 1 v 1 and do so consistently - all of a sudden you are describing many players on page 1 of the scorebord as less skilled players. Ones that need luck to win?

I am sure if i run a search on the ponies it will show you are branding your teammates with this description as well and these games suggest people in glass houses .....

i'm not sure if yorkie pete was saying the singles games would be 1v1.....it's not exactly clear

what is clear: all discussion of the clan battle in this thread involved dubs and trips, no singles. then KoE convinced mm17 to join, and yorkie fuckface suddenly declares that singles games must be played. doesn't take a genius to figure out why: they're vaunted "secret weapon" only shines in one setting.

one more thing: the mere fact that your clan would even suggest playing singles games in a clan war shows that you are noobish fucks who have always been and will always be a second tier clan on CC. we don't even have to play the challenge, anyone who reads this thread will know you aren't even worthy to play us. seriously, you have no clue what you're doing here

bring it on anyways, losers

Ok as the ponies seem to be too shit scared to go 1 on 1 combat, we will allow them to hold hands and just play with each other.

How about this?

Each side creates 12 doubles and 12 triples matches each. One third must be chained, one third unlimited and one third adjacent. Similarly one third must be no cards, one third flat and one third escalating.

Each side can choose their own maps but can only choose each map once. cards and forts can be mixed up as you see fit provided they conform to the above.

That would give 48 matches, 24 trips, 24 dubs total of 120 game slots each. Each player therefore plays in 10 matches, no more, no less.

Substitutes and account sitters are not allowed. Teams can be changed provided the outgoing player has not started a game. Once a player has started a game they will be committed to play 10 games or forfeit any game they fail to join.

Now is that ok for you guys or are you gonna tell me, oh we didn't agree on escalating cards....or you can't have unlimited forts as thats too scary for us.

now are we gonna do this or what?

We haven't even been given your team yet.

Oh and the reason for the number of games as described is that it creates an even allocation for cards, forts and each player plays same number of games.

I could answer that the same way, but our clan stands for Honour and no-one in koe would ever stoop as low as to call his opponent f***face

Oh and lol at the fact u said hes ranked 3 so that makes him amazing.. no offence to skyT but he certainly isen't the best player on this site by a long way. Maniac might be one of the top singles players and is ok at teams but so are alot of people.
