I want to see Jeff Francis take out Beckett in game one. Not only because I have no respect for the AL, but because back on June 4 the Rockies beat the Box Sox 7-1, Francis won and Beckett got his first loss of the season. With 10 hits in 5 innings and 6 runs, sure Francis had 7 hits in 5 innings but he had a great outfield and infield to back him up that’s why he did not give up a run (mind you this was in Boston). Beckett had 1 K and Francis had 6 Ks. True that was back in the regular season, but now with the fire of the 21 of 22 games I think Francis will have the fire on his arm.
The Rockies had a .989 fielding average that is the best in the league this season. That is why I am all for what the Rockies have been doing so far even if this is not the regular season I think the fact that they have been able to study the breaks from Sox players for the past nine days and have been able to work out the knots in there defense and offence.
If I had to pick a team player for player, I would be so happy with who the Rockies have right now, I find nothing that I would change…..at all. I hate all the bull about how a nine game break could have put rust onto the Rockies bats, I don't see that happening.

I call Rockies in 5 but a sweep would not make me any bit shocked.
The worse it could be is Rockies in 6, but I call the Rox 5.
Why?: If and that is IF Beckett wins tonight in game one, I don’t think the Rockies will falter.

Be careful friend. As a Chicago Bears fan I have to warn you...don't brag about your team being perfect player for player. Going into this season I was wondering who we'd be playing for the NFC Championship. Now we're struggling to get back to .500

Even if hes has no chance you have to admit the biggest problem is the Rockies pitcher. Unless they completely sodomize Dice K that is.

Beckett is pitching Game 5 though. If you expected Beckett to dominate, this makes no sense. Furthermore, Rockies starting pitching AND bullpen pitching looks shaky as hell. No matter how good you defense is, they can't catch balls on the otherside of the wall, and theres nothing they can do about Base on balls.
Furthermore, the Boston Red Sox have been finely tuned to be a OBP team. THis is quite evident, besides the fact that we got 13 RUNS, but also that we worked the counts, got walks (rockies releiver walked home a run) and played well.
Its going to Coors field 2-0.
It'l leave Coors field 3-1.
