* Specifics: in the past when i have deleted my history and emails i have forgotten what website i went on that was so good.

Yeah i robbed this from another website but i think its a good idea.

Since lack doesn't delete accounts, I think it should read as follows:

CC misses you, Optimus Prime!

Your account is now considered inactive but we would love to see you return to Conquer Club and continue having fun. (Or something to that effect)

It wouldn't be pestering if it was just a one time message after they had been inactive for a certain amount of time.

Now, if it was every month, that would be pestering.

I don't think its on the to do list but lack has talked about a mass mailing to all inactive accounts. But first he has some other ideas of how to increase initial retention rate so that members realize the game isn't generally played real time. I think once all that is settled he plans to email everyone who signed up and never came back.

i get all sorts of reminders from other sites whose quality is not up to this site's and they all promptly are added to my spam box ive had one site sent me mails from 28 different addresses. im ticked at those but a one time mail wouldnt be overbearing at all, at least to me

What classifies an inactive player...

I've not played many games recently as I don't have tinterweb at home...

But I'm still active.

I would assume inactive means "since last login". Obviously if you are still logging in to the site, you are active, you just might be on the forums only and playing no games.
