Oh yes, I totally agree. Also, back in the earlier days there were no women.. which added an amusingly interesting mmm... *intensity* to the show.

Does anyone here like Q.I, hosted by Stephen Fry? I know strictly speaking it's a quiz, but it is as funny as anything.

Have I Got News For You, used to be good as well in the days of Angus Deayton, but now it largely depends on who the guest presenter is.

Never Mind The Buzzcocks
and 8 Out of 10 Cats are also usually good for a few laughs.

First three, definitely yes. Last one... not so much. It was good when it started and now it's a piss soaked excuse for comedy imo.

They have the worst guests. Jimmy Carr and Sean Lock are good, and that other tema captain can be ok, but they bring in people who just arnt going to make the quiz funny or entertaining.

By the way, you missed Mock the Week, which is very funny and up there with the best quiz shows. I think any show which has David Mitchell becomes funny, but I've never seen him on Have I got News for You, which imo is the best show overall.

Did you catch Would I Lie to You on BBC1? Angus Deayton hosts with David Mitchell and Lee Mack as team captains. Again a lot depends on the guests they have on, but Mitchell is consistently funny, no matter who he has to bounce off.

Yer I saw those. It didn last long but I thought it was funny. Lee Mack is also good, I like Not Going Out although I dont get to watch it anymore, but I preferred the American girl over the new one.
