lol, well congratz on having a boring life then.

But seriously, I don't understand the whole "I've got xxxxx number of posts, yay" thing. What the hell does it matter? For each 100 posts, does it raise your self-esteem? Do you get a prize? Free premium? Girls think it's sexy? It ups your rank? Lack sends you a check? Everyone loves you? I'm not flaming, I'm genuinely curious because this number doesn't excite me at all unless it's like 666 or 2025 or some cool number.

When I see someone with a high post count, I usually think either spammer or troll; which isn't always true, it just seems that some with high counts have little relevant or pertinent to add when they do post.

The world would be a better place if people went for quality, not quantity.

i have actually found that for every 100 posts girls have thought i was more sexy.

And I try to do both as much as possible. :wink:

meh both are important, I have no idea why I like having a high post count I just do. One thing it does show is that I like the site a lot otherwise I wouldn't be spending all my time posting on it.

Think of it more like rankings. I see tons of people who create new threads in General Discussion to congratulate themselves or others because they achieved a new rank, or a new milestone score, like 3500 or 3000
