cartographers upon making their fifth map. seeing as you (lack) and the rest of cc benefits from their time/effort i think thats a nice idea. effectively they expand your site for free right? makes sense to me. what do we think? im sure mods have something similar already

I like the idea if it's for 2 or 3 maps, but use the form.

ya, there definetly should be a reward for players who take thier time to devolp maps. maybe 1 map gets you 5 speed or 5 private and 2 -4 maps gives you premium

Guys, I don't know the details, but I think Lack already has a system in place that he uses. I also don't think he wants to make it public knowledge as it is a private matter between him and the successful cartographer. :)

In many ways it is not the cartographer that makes the map it is the people.

The people create the map
The cartographer makes it

If cartographers and very frequent suggesters/constructive criticizers should get rewards but then it becomes a way for people to spam, in a way, to get a reward

another option???

Postby PLAYER57832 on Tue Nov 27, 2007 11:45 am

maybe one free month for significant contributions to a map??? ... or two months?

One to two months is enough to "matter", but not so much that you are likely to get cutthroat arguments over who did what. WEll, maybe nothing will prevent SOME discussion, but couldn't this be a decent compromise?
