Political problems

Recently (no thanks to xtratabasco), the clubhouse has become bogged down with threads about politics, religion, morals and all that kinda crap. I was just thinking, is there any way we could have another forum (or sub-forum), maybe called the 'Debate Forum' or something, for people to go there and debate about those kinda things, because i don't think that is what the Clubhouse is for. But it wouldn't be just random arguing, like the flame wars, it would be people voicing their opinions in an environment where everybody cares.

Yeah the only forays off topic in these posts are from people who'd rather not see them.

I think it would be worth looking into at least. Perhaps if it did come to fruition there could be one or two "even-keeled" folks that had a specific job to watch over the Debate Forum. Just to keep an eye on the threads and make sure it didn't become too crazy.

That kind of falls in line with what Twill was talking about with expanding the helpers around the site.
