Quick question about cards

In a game with escalating cards, I currently have 4 cards - 2 red, 2 green. Ordinarily (in Risk), these wouldn't be a set, but I can't see anything under the Instructions segment that specifies that I need to have one from three different continents or three from the same.

Are these still a set? I have a turn due in the next 5 hours and I'm dead if it's not a set.

Sadly that isn't a set. You need 3 of the same colour or one of each to trade them in. i have been in that predicament before.

It has been said. You don't have to clarify something which was clear as crystal
