dude, i'm so sad right now, like man, what happened, why did it have to be england again, AGAIN! couldn't it have been fiji. :(
GO FIJI!!
on a side note in choking terms we're in good company, its been like twenty years of NZ being the best side and not winning. i wouldn't be surprised if the nz team was taking long vacations till it dies down over there.

Bring it on. NZ will be a lot tougher in the next world cup. We got the home team advantage. Oh and what is with the All Blacks not being able to wear their Black jerseys. Its a setup I reckon.

Annoyingly, I'd already agreed to go to a talk by Tony Benn and Oona King while the fucking Rugby was on. I thought I was saving myself the misery of a tragic loss, but not so! I feel like the biggest Rugby traitor out there... :D :D :D

Watched it back tonight. What a great game.

Bring on France.

so what's it like in NZ? is anyone particularly shocked at your team choking? it has happened an awful lot.
btw does anyone think it would be cool if Canada and the US got really into rugby?

Honestly? Not particularly. Sure, it would boost Rugby, but I saw the U.S. play in the last World Cup against Japan, and they just got over them. If they did get really into Rugby, good for them, I kinda wouldn't care.

Canada.. Meh.. pretty much same with them too.

Argentina proved to be too strong for Scotland. :( i`m pretty damn sure the Lamont brothers had bets on the Argies to win, both of them were cocking up left, right and centre. Sean at one time tried to keep a ball in play that was like 6ft above him, only to give the Argies a throw nearer our line. tosspot. :x

ok best associated animal/thing with a team has to be the pumas, i mean i like springbok as well, but pumas is awesome.
wallaby is pretty weak, and kiwi is just ridiculous, that wouldn't inspire respect in a 3 week old baby.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
(i was going to put in smilies, but there aren't any that a laughing enough)

Well done to Aus & NZ for another "successful" world cup...what a great weekend of rugby. I thought seeing aus getting beaten was the best game i'd seen, but i was proved wrong a few hours later and it couldn't have happened to 2 better teams & then to top it all off SA pull out another win \:D/

SA looked a bit shaky in the 1st half, i really didn't expect Fiji to put up much fight in the scrums & line outs but they impressed be a bit.

My 1 complaint is that it would have been nice if the ref had bothered to watch the same game, there were some shocking calls. If a south african had put in any of those high tackles we would have been sent off & be sitting in hearings for the next week...Apparently, after 1 high tackle the ref told his touch judges that the score was 20 all so he'd let it slide...& this prick might be in charge of the final.

Should be some good semi-finals, i don't think SA will have a problem i just hope we don't get france in the final.
