I was born in 1989, and have been told I should have been raised/grew up during the 80s.

Seems to me that the sixties were the last great era, the end of the age of innocence. I was born in 1960 so the Eighties were memorable for me because I was having a ball as a young twentysomething guy, but the period was not especially wonderful otherwise.

The 90's and current generation is the best. Its so good all you oldies are trying to be kids by playing games on the internet and gaming consoles. The hippies and Wacko fans cant beat the Wii and Halo 3. O, we also have HDTV, the internet and mobile phones.

I was born in 1982.
In 90's i was spending about half an hour a day on computer, and 3 hours on TV. Now i spend 4 hours a day on computer and another 3 hours on TV (or DVD).

In 90's i used to play Football with my friends, go to movies (or a museum) a lot. Now half of them (friends) got married, and another half is drunk all the time...

Life was easier, no DVD (maybe Video), no mobiles, no...

I think I kinda miss 90's

i was born in 84, so of course its the best generation...but i mean, each decade had something of its own to offer...like the 90's gave us technology, and the double-0s gave us better techonology and slutty celebrity jailbait....but i mean...the 80's gave us rampant cocaine use and 80's "crush anyone in you way mentality"...without which none of this would be possible....soriously, how coked out was the first guy who came up wit cable, internet, dvd's, cd's, the SUV.

and of course there was bon jovi, styx, foreginer, def leppard, ratt, van halen, skid row, poison, GnR, the cars, INXS, U2, warrant.....and of course Wham!

plus rocky IV.....DRAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

There were some good tv shows in the 80's, but some of them were just so silly. Some prime examples are...

Manimal

Automan

Who would ever want to mess with Matt Houston!, especially with Uncle Roy by his side.

Small Wonder

...and don't forget Courtney Cox was in Misfits of Science

I know what you're thinking but it's a choice, allways has been.

My Dad like lots of people, spent all his free time glued to the television in the 1970s. Then people thought the same thing, too much technology taking up real life.

There were only three channels, then cable came and expanded it to 11, nothing was available to capture the programming and choose to watch things you really enjoy the whole time. It's really never been better to enjoy the sedintary lifestyle.

The outdoors and museums etc. are still there, just have to go do it.

See you later there are several other forums and web sites that need me to stare at them.

Yes, that's true.
The thing I most miss about the 90's is all that hanging around together with my friends. I could go to museum, movies, or every Dinamo game as before, but alone and that's boooooringgggg... :?

Hmm, you need a new social circle.

Check out the singles clubs in your town, most will not be for match making, rather to help you hang out with other people that are experiencing the same thing.

You might meet a woman too but, it's best to go without that plan.

Infact sometimes museums have these type of social nights once a month.

'91! So the 90's were pretty unmemorable for me, and the '80's nonexistent.

I remember the 90s well, but the 60s had to be where it was at.

I don't remember any of those shows. Maybe the west coast had different programming then the east coast or they were on in the late 80's when I was in Germany)

Shows I used to watch include:

HULK

DALLAS my parents were hooked

BOSS

DUKES

and probably one of the funniest shows in the 80's GOLDEN

I just loved Dorthy's sarcasm!
