Adam and Eve had Cain, Abel and Seth. And as it is common in scripture to leave out the females in genealogy, they more than likely had daughters also.
God married them.

that's what I'm saying. the bible never says that. as you said, it is just called 'the fruit' (or something very similar)

Is it even called 'the fruit'? I thought it was more vague.

so are you saying every woman from that time is in the bible? because the bible only mentions the boys names?
There are over 160 women mentioned in the Bible. Although not all of their names were written down, their deeds were, thus showing us the part they, too, played in history. http://kyky.essortment.com/womeninthebi_rbcw.htm

Well its a fact that the bible does not mention that Adam and Eve had any daughters so its an assumption to presume otherwise, one can hardly take it literally AND then make assumptions simply to fill in the blanks.
My second point in any case would still be valid, even ignoring the genetic implications is it not stated in the bible that incest is wrong ?

your biblical literacy has some problematic holes.....check Genesis 5:4, adam and eve had daughters (at least if you're reading literally). also cain married a woman from another land, so the question isn't really about incest but where these other people originated (for a literal reading....maybe those questions aren't important at all)

What are you talking about?
And no, Jews are the real Jews.
Christians aren't the only ones, and have not always persecuted them. Ever heard of Mohammed? He executed some because they would not recognize him as a prophet. The Byzantine Empire was quite open for many people, until the Turks over ran it and slaughtered people. Also, the Babylonian Captivity (I believe), where the Jews were exiled (for the most part) from Israel.joecoolfrog wrote:jay_a2j wrote:joecoolfrog wrote:My next question is why have Christians endlessly persecuted Jews , who the Old Testament says are Gods chosen children
