Browns 51
Bengals 45

Cleveland's offense was HUGE last week againt the Bengals, a defense that was predicted to be great this year...

And why would you post these three? Rolle is an overrated 1st round pick, Rackers is good but... he's just a kicker, and Bryant Johnson hasn't proved his worth since he got there.

There are no such things as "silly turnovers" in the NFL. These players get paid million because they do this shit year round. They dont make "silly" mistakes.

And yeah, i did see the game and the Bengals were swarming to the ball every play, giving McNair absolutely no time to throw.

in that case, lets clear things up:

the bengals have orange helmets with white stripes
and
the ravens have blackish/dark bluish helmets with a raven

The patriots are the scariest team out there. We have the best leader in the league in Tom Brady, and No defense can stop Randy Moss on the slant(the charges tried double teaming him, and lets just say they got raped like a Diego) Not to mention, are offensive line is incredible, our special teams has already score the longest run-back in NFL history this year, and our defense is a group of large, good lineman. We're 2-0. but neither of the games were that much of a contest(again, SanDiego, who always talk tough, went home crying) and Its clear that things are going to continue that way.

I also want to talk for a minute about the illegal taping. The amount of coverage that went into this infringement is pathetic at best. These tapes, while possibly helpful, weren't that big of a deal. Think about it:
The Coaches call out the play 40-20 seconds before the snap.
The video taper, who is recording the hand signals, send that tape to the man up above,
who then analyzes the play signaled by the hand signals.
Then the man up above radios the play down to Bill Belicheck.
Bill then has to relay that information to a player on the field.
THen that player has to give the information to the rest of the team.

In less than a minute? Perhaps, but unlikely, and even so, then the information probably isnt relayed all that clearly. Furthermore, even if a defense knows the jist of what play is going to happen, that doesn't mean they can stop it if they are unskilled. They have to be good at what they do to take this illegal information(if they can get it) and put it to use. Is this illegal? yes. Is it game changing? probably not.

Take a look at the allegations that the New York Jets are cheating in comparison to what NE has done, and you can see that this isn't that big of a deal at all.

This is hilarious. Is it game changing? Hell yes it is.
You are just another patriot bandwagoner who will be crying when his precious team doesn't win another super bowl. In fact, you are probably crying because your team got caught for cheating.

I was a fan of the patriots before they won a single superbowl.

ALso, if your so hoighty toighty with how the film taken during the game could change the game, except to show that you are a whiner because the patriots so consitently beat the living shit out of your team, please explain.

much better. Thats one of the stupidest questions I have ever heard in my life. It's like asking, "How can knowing all the questions on a test (before you study) help you out?

How can knowing a team's play help you? The answer is obvious
If you know the play that a team is going to run, you can put your defense in a position to defend that play

now that wasn't too hard was it?

Silly child. They didn't film the game BEFORE it happened. They were filming the game AS IT HAPPENED(which, may I add, as how most film is filmed)

So, no. Its not like saying you 'know all the answers of a test before you take it' at all. Obviously if that was the case, then I wouldn't be saying this.

Try again.

The fact that they don't film it before the actual game doesn't matter. They still film it before the play happens. Maybe my analogy was a bit off, but anybody with half of a brain understands that if you know the play before it happens, you can alter your defense to stop it.

Bold: thanks for proving me right :D

Ok, so they film it as it happens. How the hell does it get from this big, handheld video camera, to the defensive line? Those big linemen in the uniforms surely don't have tiny little televisions hidden somewhere?

Perhaps they watch the film first. But oh wait! since the filming was being done as the game happened, those defensive guys we're on the field, already PLAYING the game.

Try again.

Yes, they film the calls as they happen, as opposed to what? They film the calls after they happen?

Hilarious, truly hilarious.

How hard is it for you to understand that your precious bandwagon team are cheaters. They videotape the signal, which is in turn given to the coach (not that hard silly child), and the coach tells their defensive captain (I guess you are too busy defending your cheaters, that you hadn't noticed the green dot on players helmets means that they receive play-calls from the coach). The play is told to the team and they have the upper hand

Seeing as you will never understand logic, good night silly child.

oh ok, thanks! this brings me back to my original point. Thats a lot of stuff you just mentioned there son.
You perhaps missed that once the video tape is finished, it has to be played back to Bill Belicheck(this must take a little time, at least the duration of the film, plus time to rewind the film, and get over to Bill)
Then, Bill has to analyze the tape(gee, this must take a little time to, those hand signals sure can be confusing!)
Then the defensive captain has to correctly relay this information from Bill the coach to 10 odd other players around him, some up to 10 yards away from him! This also has to be done while the other team is yelling to themselves as well.(not a walk in the park exactly)
Finally, the defensive players have to interpret this information and act accordingly. They already had a play set up to run, and now they have to get in the positions for their new play.(jeez and all that confusion doesn't happen instantly)

now, my fine football friend, how long do you suppose the Patriots have to do all of these steps? If you answered "from the time that the coach made the hand signals, until the play started." you would be correct.
Another question: how long do you suppose that is? Not to long? I didn't think so.

Is all that stuff possible? like i said way before, perhaps. But it would be a race against time, now wouldn't it. Annnd, what if one of those steps along the way is screwed up? Then the defense doesn't know what the hell is going on, there all confused, and they're at an even worse spot than before.
Not very effective, is it.

MM10, your starting to sound worse and worse. Stop saying the same exact thing over and over again and make an argument. By saying try again 20 times it doesnt prove a point. The film the Pats had couldve "helped" in future games, but as for the game which they obliterated the Jets, the film could not have been used. Thus they still are killing teams without "cheating" on a consistent basis.

i dont see why everyone is so impressed with detriot they beat the raiders and barely the vikings(and that was even at home)

the packers on the other hand look great they have beaten two teams that were in the playoffs last year there defense has given up 10 pioonts in the second quarter bothe game and 3 in the third quater both games
if they can do that to the chargers and brett favre plays like he did in the second hallf last week going 12/12 and his first 12 passes of the second half!

For those who actually want to defend the cheating Patriots and their Mr. "no personality and even though I make millions I won't put on a decent shirt to talk to the cameras because I'm a mope" coach, we have a thread for that here:
http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27564

Lets try to keep this thread about real football.

Like, how the 49'ers are going to get completely pounded this weekend.
