Well, Ender and I are certainly different people. We know each other in real life, we are in the same time zone, and we discuss our turns. We were still discussing things when dyingfetus moved shortly after Ender did, so I moved. No big mystery there. We don't use the same computer.
A review of our extensive private team chat from any of our games makes clear that we are actively talking with and strategizing with each other. A sample:
2007-06-26 08:11:21 - Ender_ [team]: Oh, didn't see that N. Korea can attack Sakhalin.
2007-06-26 08:11:43 - Ender_ [team]: 3 to N. Korea.
2007-06-26 08:12:05 - Bean_ [team]: no, 3 to Honshu. Otherwise they have more defensive things they can play with.
2007-06-26 08:12:29 - Bean_ [team]: bummer!
2007-06-26 08:12:55 - Ender_ [team]: Yeahk, if they are that savvy. Honshu is a good move.
2007-06-26 08:13:39 - Ender_ [team]: I know. But what can you do. Can't fortify everything to better than 5%!
2007-06-26 08:14:11 - Bean_ [team]: He only has 2 games waiting at this point, but don't know if he's logged in.
2007-06-26 08:15:21 - Ender_ [team]: Okay, won't have much time for consultation today. Didn't get as much done yesterday as I hoped.
2007-06-26 08:15:41 - Ender_ [team]: I'll check back later.
2007-06-26 08:20:40 - Bean_ [team]: ditto
