Voice from grave: Ga7, do feel free to choose the next lynching method. :)
Some ideas I thought of.
Catapaulting into the water.
Tribal sacrifice.
Firing squad.
Exile to be eaten by wolves.
Feel free to use those ideas or adjust them. Your choice Moderator of the game. :)
I'm back after an all too long hiatus.

Haha thanks =)
Sorry NES but I partly picked this setting because I'm lazy and can just keep my scenes as historically accurate as possible since everyone died at some point
And yeah Charles was the hottie of the revolution
I'll cut the night short, scene coming soon.

It had been long since Parisian citizens witnessed a so tumultuous night. Everything started with the escape of Charles77.
She was allowed visits in her cell, and by a witty trick managed to switch places with one of her cousins, as the guards were too full of wine to notice.
Before they discovered the disguised prisoner in her stead, she was long gone.

Dustn64 was writing his journal in his bathtub, when a servant told him a well-dressed lady was here to talk to him, with the purpose of telling him names of his provincial ennemies. He consented to her coming, thrilled by the idea of catching more of the people standing in the way of his revolution.
He noticed something was wrong when the lady in question was the one he helped condemn just a few hours before; and by the fact she had a long dagger in her hand.

The panicked guards, fearing for the Committee members, had rushed to their homes.
Unfortunately, Dustn64's one was the furthest.
They were just in time to seize Charles77, standing next to his dead body.
His last words, tainted with blood: "To ensure public tranquility, two hundred and seventy thousand heads more should fall."

As sorry as I am for dustn64 being killed, I'm really happy I wasn't killed because I am the cop. And now I am 100% sure that 0ojakeo0 is the last mafia scumbag.

Quijote, I'll tell you what my night-actions were so you can confirm for yourself whether I am speaking the truth or not.

Night 1: I investigated XenCobra/dustn64. He appeared to be the most experienced player, so he would be most dangerous as mafia. I also didn't trust him, because he put the final vote on NES. However, he turned out townie. That's why day 2, I didn't suspect him anymore.

Night 2: I investigated you, Quijote. It really didn't matter who I investigated, you or 0ojakeo0, because if one was townie, then the other would be mafia and vica versa. I just chose you, because you voted for me the other day. You also turned up townie.

Which leaves 0ojakeo0 as the last surviving mafia.
Vote 0ojakeo0.

MOn dieu! Pardon for my tardiness! I had to run some errands with a writer friend of mine last night and, well, let's just say that our frers in Spain make some good wine! Mon dieu!

<Out of character>
Thanks for the PM Ga7, I was relying on the topic update notification and didn't get any. sorry for the delay again...
</out of character>

Well, je dois dit qui je suis tres desolee pour le mort de nous amie...

Oh! Pardon! I just said I am quite sorry of the death of our friend. I'm glad they caught the perpretator with her hands on the cold dagger.
I must say, I need at least till nightfall until I can come up with a vote. You see, my vote is one of great importance... since I'm the last one to vote.

Excuse moi for now, I'll be back after I can think better and vote.

Adieu!

Uhm jake, I think you screwed up your fake defence here. NES was already dead night 1: we lynched him on the first day...

I appreciate you trying to protect me, but I unfortunately suffer my First day lynch here. (Which was also my first and most painful death)

After beacoup thinking... I have come to the conclusion that Jake must be the last Mafia. It all just fits correctly in my mind. So, je dois apologize to Sierra for my past accusation. I am tres desolee Sierra! Comprend moi, sil te-plait! You seemed the obvious choice for mafia since you came out fingers blazing pointing at people! Obviously, I was wrong. I tip my hat to you.

Jake, I hope I get to keep your memory alive... until someone cleans up your blood. Sacre bleu!

The Committee, or what was left of it, was in uproar as Sierra_Leon revealed his proofs against one of its members. That man, he said, was in fact a straw man of Jake himself, and had been in contact with the Austrian nobility in hopes that they would wage war against France and restore the monarchy to its original state.
Sierra claims: "Jake must die so that our nation may live!"
After a close vote, death is decided.

The guillotine had never seen a so huge crowd surrounding her, and so much cheering for an execution.
As Jake stand on the platform, in his last moment of noblesse, he told his former subjects: "I die an innocent man. I give forgiveness to my accusers, and pray to God that the blood you are going to shed today will not fall back on our land."
He seeked to continue his speech but drumrolls started, covering his voice.

The crowd cheered loudly "Vive la nation! Vive la République!"

0ojakeo0 - Louis XVI (mafia) has been guillotined!

The power was now in the hands of Sierra_Leon - Maximilien Robespierre (cop) and his follower Quijote - Louis Saint-Just (townie). But for how long?
