I have a problem with the war in IRAQ because it was unjustified and had no connections with 9/11. I support American troops in Iraq though, because they did not choose to go to war, and they just do what the idiots in the white house tell them too.

I do, however, support the war in Afghanistan because it is a perfectly justified war that isn't about oil.

I'm with Hecter on this.. I agree with Afghanistan but not on Iraq for the reasons Hecter just gave!

Second of all you did achieve all that prosperity because you had a lot of space unlike the European countries and the two World Wars completely destroyed the European economies and countries had to lend money from American banks!

No, no, no. Suprisingly enough, do do, in fact, know that you have posted your reasons. My main problem with them is that they suck. I spent rather a lot of time and effort disproving Number 1; Number 2 is simply a Pro-Capitalist, Anti-Communist rant; Number 3 makes some stupid assumptions I really wouldn't have expected of someone of your intelligence (America is completly and totally fair in every way, shape and form; economic growth is obviously infinite, and all Americans always work really hard to fuffil the 'American Dream') and in Number 4 you act as though Americans accept immigrants because they are just that nice, and not because of all the valuable, valuable skills they bring to America.

Anyway, I have realised (rather belatedly, it seems) that there is absolutly no chance of having luns admit that his reasons don't make any sense to those who don't already have his mindset and thus, no more fun to be extraced from this thread ( ). It's amazing how when a reasonable liberal-minded person can argue that Iraq may be unrelated to 9/11, a whole slew of un-understanding people can extend this to apply to anything with letters in their names. Random leaps of non-logic like this make us reasonable liberals seem like crazies.

Civil war in my opinion is good for a country, it allows them to work out their own problems. Instead of calling in another country to do it for them.

Yes, because afterward they have to build it back up themselves. In Iraq, because America helped, we screwed it up yes, now we have to stay and fix it. If Iraqis had a civil war instead, they would be building everything back up on their own right now. But since America is helping they seem to suspect that they get to sit back and let us do it.
