What the world thinks of Extraterrestrials

Why not...we're covering just about every other place. :?

I personally like the Martians. They're featured the most in Sci-Fi movies.

How about them Plutonians, I bet they feel a little low since their planet was downgraded.

I think there are few out here in Wyoming, actually, there are some, but not that many. To far from the border I guess.

I believe in aliens, it's simply impossible for us to be the only evolved life in the universe. I don't know if any visited Earth through, we r just so far out, but I'll admit I have heard some very convincing arguments.

The chance of aliens emerging at such a time that they are superior to, yet still interested in us is astronomically small. Hell, even if they existed on roughly the same timeframe as humanity and traveled to Earth, I find it incredibly difficult to believe in beings that would act so childishly. I mean, abducting and anal probing people? Come on! A race thousands, if not millions or billions of years old surely has better things to do with it's time.

I believe in the probable existance of some form of aliens, but certainly not the classic grey, humanoid, saucer riding ones.

i agree.even if highly intelligent life forms existed - they would take one look and then run like hell from here, even if against all odds stumbled upon our small planet.

I think that if I was part of a highly develped species, many millenia senior to that of earth with such amazing understanding of the universe I could travel here and not be threatend by anything, I would find it highly amusing to abduct drunken rednecks, not so sure about the anal probing though.

Does anyone have the BOINC SETI@home (or whatever it's called) installed on their computer? It's a project based in the University of California (I think? The one with the Berkeley campus, whatever that's called) that involves scanning the skies for artificial signals.

The amount of number-crunching involved in analysing the data is so gargantuan that it can't practically be done on a few computers, so instead the data is farmed out to volunteers through the net, whose computers work on the data any time they're sitting idle (or it can be set to work the whole time, in the background.)

Anyone can install the BOINC software. There are other very worthy projects besides hunting for aliens that can be done with this, mostly protein research for the benefit of medicine. But that's boring - ET is far more interesting.

I used to have it installed, for about four years. Never found any alien signals, though.

nice and random

anyway... et's. There must be some other form of life out there.

In a movie or book or something there was a fact that there are as many galaxies in the universe as there are grains of sand on earth.

I think there are aliens but weither or not they actually came to earth and took people to test on, i do not believe.

Aliens obviously exist.

Imagine how many planets there are in space. A countless number. There has to be some kind of advanced living creature somewhere out there, they will never come to Earth because they would have to travel like 10 trillion years if they were travelling at the speed of light.

and

THey helped the EGYPTIONS!!! WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!
