alliances?

Postby Madness20 on Thu Aug 23, 2007 6:32 am

Well , i don't know if that was already discussed around here , but i ask you, if there is a puclic alliance between two plyers, shouldn't they anyway figght each other when it's reached a limit?.
i mean, i've seen gamess ( mainly in a friend of mine's game) in which the alliance are public but one of the allied showed no resistant to the partner, and just delivered him them game by keeping attacking the others while his partner already had half map ( and this was in a world 2.1 game!) .... is it allowed? shouldn't it be considered cheating?

what your asking is to regulate announced alliances. Its hard enough for them to decide if there in fact a secret alliance, let alone even look at announced ones.

However, if two people continually work together on singles, they can be blocked, announced alliance or not.

For the rest, thats what the feedback is for, however, I strongly suggest only using it in the most extreme of circumstances.

I detest alliances but recognise that they are part of the game, consequently my solution is to play escalating where they very rarely occur.

Expose them with neutral or negative feedback as "alliance-lovers" and then others who despise such can ignore them.

Personally, when I run across feedback or read game chat that indicates a player consistently fishes for or accepts alliances, I put them straight to my ignore list. Such players make for the least entertaining games.
