Best Boardgames

Postby FlyinHi on Fri Aug 17, 2007 2:14 pm

It doesn't have to be just one that you think.

I personally love Hero Quest, obscure game from late 80s early 90s. I managed to get every single expansion released in the US and overseas, thanks to the help of EBAY.

And more recently, Betrayal at the House on the Hill. My cousin introduced me to this game. Frikkin awesome. Never the same game twice, not even the board.

I second those three along with Risk.

Hero Quest was a great game
Don't now why people on here don't like being cooks, remember under siege: A former SEAL, now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they sieze control of a US Navy battleship.

I've seen something similar to CC for Hero Quest, but I think it's still in beta. Cool idea though.

Fireball Island anyone?

risk, obviously.....but...there's a game we played in the navy, passed over from the Royal Navy I think, and it stems from before WW2. Its called "Uckers". I believe that's where the game "sorry" was derived from. Never seen any except hand made boards, and never met anyone who wasn't ex navy or kin to ex navy, who'd ever heard of it.......great cut throat game tho. I still have my board...lol
