and in regards to bothering to debate, I don't bother debating with people I consider to be idiots. My past mafia games speak for themselves. Calling someone a NOOB if perfectly fitting in a case where someone can not read between the lines and think there is only one reason something may happen. Perfect example of this is you saying that b/c I admitted that I was a cop if somehow I was alive tomorrow that meant I had to be scum. Unfortunately noob it's not always that cut and dry as 1) mafia may assume the doc will protect me and choose another target, 2) doc may actually protect since the experienced players usually know how to use their role properly, 3) mafia will use your noobness against you since you seem to think that calling someone a noob is so very offensive that it deserves a vote even after the person has said they were a cop. As the saying goes, "suck it up cupcake" and deal with being called a noob.

Even before I signed up, I saw Shadowstar posting, I learned the game of mafia by watching Shadowstar play, I read all the roles, I thought up several strategies. Also, I have a low post count HERE, but I've been roaming the internets for about 2 years, I've learned how to comport myself on the internet. You calling me a noob NOW, you do NOT know how I was then. I was a complete fool, and I was arrogant, insulting people of a lower caste. And I'm glad I'm no longer that stupid. Also, most of the higher post counts here come from spammers.

Next of all, there is nothing wrong with a noob that's willing to learn. There IS a problem with a noob that refuses to learn and thinks he is a hotshot. I've met plenty of both in my time, and I give advice to the ones willing to learn, and the arrogant ones I tell them to go die.

Basically, under pressure you turn into a stupid prick, taking the game too seriously, and I say a remark that makes me look scummy when I'm not. Its just a game, calm down. The Noob reacts angrily when the cop is unsure of his true identity lmao. In a game of this size there is about a 99.9% chance that there is a doc in this game barring him already being dead. Even if he wasn't dead, if a person claims plain townie most likely they still will be lynched since plain townies don't help that much in relation to a power role. Evidently hooked on phonics worked on him and he has learned how to read. Woohoo time to party. Here is the truth, when I said you were being incredibly offensive, I meant in the content of the GAME. I know I am a beginner, I AM a beginner to the game of mafia. I've read about it and reread the roles 20 times, but just from knowing the rules and roles doesn't mean you are immediately a skilled player. These games take experience to learn. However, you are not helping.

When I kept accusing you of being too aggressive, I was using that as scum evidence. Basically, you not only revenge voted but started flaming, which appeared to be a scum tell. My argument was inside the content of the game. Except for my last post, I was calm and arguing WITHIN the game, you were arguing outside the game. Maybe you are not scum, but your aggresiveness made it look like a scum tell. My vote wasn't cause I hate you [I very well hate you by now], its cause I believe you're scum and its just part of the game. Basically I was asked here by Fircoal, and I don't know anyone here [except from brief snippets when my brother was reading]. How am I supposed to know how people behave in certain situations?

I do agree with you that games have a possibilty of many occurences. Its basically called metagaming. I'm not allowed to edit posts and I was under pressure, people not used to the heat will crack under pressure. Basically, when you read about getting killed the next turn, it was a way of me thinking about how roles work. I HOPED there was a doc [as truth be told the chances are high anyways, unless Fircoal is being evil] because if you really are a cop then I don't want you to get nightkilled. However I have no proof of that so I will continue to argue.

And by the way, you don't know my age or anything. I just turned 17 years recently and I am an honors and AP student. I took the AP Computer Science test in 10th grade and I passed the AP test with the maximum score of 5 [its on a weighted scale]. I also passed the AP Chemistry test with a score of 3 [whew, just barely]. Next year I'm taking AP Calculus, AP Physics, and AP statistics. Reading and writing are my worst subjects. And I was never "hooked on phonics", I learned to read and write myself. Shadowstar however is my younger brother at 14 years of age, going on 15 next month. At that time I was a supernoob.

Overall, when I tried arguing with you [except my last point], I was trying to find scum tells. I don't know your role for sure, no one knows each others roles except Mafia, so these townie versus townie fights are common. And the more mistakes I make the better, I'd learn more that way. I want to keep arguing, but more on a lighted tone. A character to character argument, not player to player. And my way of saying I won't do it at -1 is a way of saying that doing it at -1 is usually a plea for help. Its much more believable when you roleclaim when the time is right.

Basically, my rant is me trying to end it. Read it. I was attempting to convince LSU that my arguments are inside the game, and he is taking them too seriously. I wasn't offended at his noob comment, but at his taking the game too seriously, and for one of his reasoning [IE post count]. I want him to debate with logic rather than flames. I was USING his flames as a scum tell, that's why I kept pointing them out. And by the way Serbia, don't comment when you haven't even READ it. I AGREED on one of his points [the metagaming section]. Even if LSU is pro-town, I want him to prove it with logic. I don't want to argue about who is a noob or not, I want to argue about who is scum or not.

However, the story about Kwanton winning his first game through luck is hilarious, no wonder he was crazy in the beginning of the game.
