you dont understand sir, we've had a very confusing and eventful long relationship...its gonna be a while until either of us can move on, but we thought our best bet would be to break up while im at college...but it sucks, because im so in love with her and it sucks knowing that friday night will be the last time were really together for a long long long time...

Yes, I do understand. And you know what would suck even more? Dwelling on a realtionship that is going to end. And 'end' is normally synonymous with 'over'. Yes, it may 'suck' that Friday will be the last time you are together, but it shouldn't be; 'the last time we're together for a long long long time'. If you break up, there shouldn't be the little teaser at the end saying; 'Oh, he might come back'. Even if you were to resume the realtionship, waiting until you are finished collage is certainly asking a lot of the girl. Don't you think?
Look, perhaps it will be hard for the both of you, but I don't think giving her a CD full of sad songs is going to help, just hinder.
Grieving affects all states of your health. You wouldn't want her to become un-healthy due to a long-term grievance, would you?

its going to happen anyways, i know her, and were not saying that theres a possibility of it happening, by the fact i wont be with her for a long long time i meant i wont be seing her for a while...i doubt were ever going to start something again, and its going to be plenty painful enough and i dont like how your going about trying to get my not to do this when ive put a lot of thought and consideration into this...it means a lot to me that she knows just how much im going to be missing her
