Socks3 and FATCAT suspected multi [cleared but blocked]

Postby Tarzanchuck on Thu Aug 09, 2007 4:55 pm

These are suspected Multis

Suspect users: socks3 and FATCAT

Game number: http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=728582

Comments: One takes the turn immediately after the other. This is consistent with all of the games that they play together, including a couple of 2 player games. Please Ban.

So since you guys only have a PC at work, it's fair to assume that you usually don't take turns on weekends?

That does seem to be the standard way of business.

well treefiddy, the computers at my old school all have the same connection and when I profusly "enhanced" my school's wikipedia page all of the computers at my school got banned from editing wiki's pages in one fell swoop. So basically there doesn't have to be just one computer used in the network for... yeah. Don't know alot about computers so I wont try to explain it anymore because I'll probably get it wrong.
All I did was put myself in the school's notable alumni, mascot, traditions, and I put myself as my own ethnicity percentage... I even referenced them. Of course I made the references but that is irrelevent.

I understand how it works. One organization, one IP address, possibly thousands of computers.

I was asking because having PC's not connected to the internet at work isn't very common anymore. The ones that normally aren't, are terminals that run specific software (ala airline programs that he described).

Ah yes, quite elementary. Precisely why I didn't explain it anymore.
wikipedia forgot to delete me in one place; I am still the mascot. Slightly less awsome than notable alumni, but I'll take what I can get.

some places tho might have more than one ip adress, ie i know of a school that has two T1 lines, meaning that we have 2 seprate id address and half are on one, half the other, but if it's a small company then this will most likley not be the case

I have checked the games you played together and so far, you have played as a team in all but one team game, which states that you have been careful in following the rules and guidelines. This, plus your explanation has been taken into consideration.

FATCAT and socks3 are cleared for being multis but blocked from playing together any future games since you are playing only from one computer. I have also taken note of the standard games you both have finished together and a secret alliance can easily be thrown at your direction considering that you make your turns after the other.
