Okay; more typical "Aimless" disclaimers follow.
First, it is now 2:53 PM Saturday, July 21st, US EST. I just finished HP. Draw your own conclusions to how much sleep I've had.
Second, in case or large error in the below, refer to above.

It's also possible Aimless has the only investigative role... Either way, I'm not convinced we should rely too heavily on this. I'm also not sure I understand why you wanted a mass roleclaim if your only investigation came up as townie Aimless... I feel this deserves to be examined more in depth, soFOS Aimless.
You haven't played with me, so I'll forgive you for not knowing that when I look scummiest is usually when I'm town.
That said, there are many non-cop investigative roles to begin with. I have never yet been in a game with a non-cop investigative role that did not also have a cop.
Regarding the mass roleclaim - a mass claim is a way for the townies to try to break the game, by pooling the information we all have.
Yes, if we all claim, the mafia are going to have an easy time picking off the power roles. But that's
only if they live long enough to do it. The point of a mass claim is to finish the game
now, or at the very least to finish the game by the following day. Once the town has sufficient information, power roles become superfluous, and protecting them no longer matters.
In a game with multiple lynches and multiple investigative roles, I think a mass claim is a damned good idea. At the
very least, it will give us a core player basis of confirmed townies. If this core is sufficiently large (in this case, 4 players),
we can lynch everyone else, and town will automatically win. I'm of the opinion that, between my role and the cop, we already have enough information to generate four confirmed townies.

Woah there. If my count is correct, that puts ga7 at lynch -1. Slow up.
Although I am a little worried regarding his "roleblocker" claim (roleblocker is a damned good fake claim), his demeanor at the moment strongly suggests to me that ga7 is town (or that he's well-played scum).

See above.
I have
never been in a game with a non-cop investigative role that did not also have a cop. Thus, you cannot use any possible coincidence of roles as a scum tell here.
kwanton wrote:It sounded to me like aimless is the gunsmith or whatever its called. Investigates like a cop but instead of scum/town he finds out whether or not the person has a gun. Only thing is if mandy is a cop he would have a gun.
Speculation regarding my role
will defeat it. If it becomes necessary, I will claim. Until then, I've said what needs to be said; further discussion (at least regarding the nature of my role, as opposed to the veracity of my result) is counter-productive.
