honestly guys, with an experienced group of players, the vote count won't tell us much, especially on the first day. Sometimes scum vote, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they bandwagon, sometimes they lead. So really, what wil the vote count actually show us? Not much. I say since it's a small game, we go with no lynch and see what the cop can find out tonight.

unvote, vote no lynch

Aimless (1): Pancakemix
Pancakemix (2): Serbia
Serbia (2): MountainLion, Aimless
No Lynch (1): wicked
Not Voting (2): Talapus, Incandenza

The deadline has passed and there is a no lynch. Send in your night actions.
----
The town gathered around to discuss their options in the face of this threat. Accusations flew freely at first, before wicked thought she had worked out who the scum were. After that, discussion followed but nothing conclusive came up and as the sun set, the town (and the mafia in their midst) departed for the night.

The sun rises, it's a beautiful day over the quiet town, the sun is shining and the birds are singing. As the town gathers though they hear the bad news:

Incandenza (Bodyguard) has been killed!

With paranoia cranked up another notch, let the accusations fly!

Last night I investigated our good friend Aimless and he came up scum, BUT I'm not certain of my sanity. Part of the reason for that is the mod sent me the wrong PM first.

I apologise for that, that was my mistake, I thought I knew which roles everyone had... when I checked the sheet, I was wrong.

Disregard the first PM.

I'm still curious about why you felt you had to claim in the first place, I know you said you weren't going to be around.... eh, whatever. I can see your point.

Now that the PM is cleared up, are you sure of your sanity now?

VOTE: Aimless I won't be around most of the day. I'll check in as possible.

Let's give everyone a chance to post before lynching Aim, just in case there's a cop counterclaim or something.

The first PM said Aimless is a townie. The second said he had made a mistake and that Aimless was a goon.

Well, seeing as I'm just a townie, I think you have to be insane.

Normally, this is the point where I'd say that it was worth it to lynch me anyways, to confirm PCM's sanity; but, we're almost certainly in LYLO, so we really can't afford that.

And, speaking of being in LYLO, Serbia - why are you voting so soon? Two wrong votes and the town loses.

The fact that Exile messed up the PM to pancake confirms there is more than one cop.

It sounds like you're being a helpful/cautious townie and throwing out a little "just in case" for another cop. wicked, do you want the other cop to show themselves?

Did you vote no lynch before the deadline so that your scum buddy Serbia wouldn't get speed lynched at the end of the day leaving you to fend for yourself?

Wait a minute, I must have missed something...Why was Incan killed? I read back through his posts and didn't find anything that he said that screamed pro town power role more then anyone else. Why would he have been targeted?

In all honesty, PCM you claimed cop, but that could be a lie. I'm not saying it is, but either your sanity is questionable because of the PM mishap, or you are flat out lying.

Also, I agree with ML on the more then one cop theroy. THe only reason multiple PM's would be sent is if certain players(cops) were supposed to see certain things.

And yeah, I understand you weren't going to be here PCM. But I still don't get why you claimed so early.

As for myself, sorry I missed the deadline yesterday. I wasn't submarining or anything. Yesterday was my B-Day and I logged on once to try and post in all my games, but missed the deadline by a few minutes. For now, though, I'll hold my vote until everyone has time to weigh in.

Also, I understand you not being able to be here for most of the day. But why vote Aimless if you aren't even sure of PCM's sanity. There would still be time to vote when you returned...

So why didn't scum go after pancake last night? :-k The whole claiming thing when it wasn't needed is odd, but pancake's not the brightest player, so that might be legit.

In a game this small, I find it hard to believe there's more than one cop, but there WAS the bodyguard, so hmmm. So let's list what potential power roles we have?

bodyguard
cop?
doc?

then 1-2 scum
and 2 vanilla townies?

does that seem balanced?

What about a role changer/bus driver? I've seen them in small games before, that might explain things. Just a thought as well though, maybe there is no vanilla townie.

I doubt that we would have both a Bodyguard and a Doc in a game this small. Too protective roles in a seven player game is a little unbalanced.

It's because your accusations were baseless, like you were grasping at straws. pancake claimed cop at the end of the day yesterday, and we don't know if that's legit b/c not everone had seen it yet, hence my "let's wait" statement. Scum will often claim cop to out the real cop. And I voted no lynch for reasons already stated, go back and read.

Next time check, check again, and check two more times before checking once more. Then you send the PM.

Well, seeing as how I got an EXACT role instead of an alignment, I think it's a pretty safe bet that I'm sane. If I had gotten an alignment it would be a different story.

The bodyguard protects someone and if that person is targeted, they die instead. It's a really minor (bordering on useless) protective role.
