Im a competent club level player that is usually quite good, generally play agressive all court/serve approach shot volleyer. Just played a club semi final and lost. Purely because i started playing grannys tennis. How to overcome this.
P.S i am also a coach so do not usually need this kind of basic help.
Why dont i go to a tennis forum, i dont want to get addicted to any other site or forum. I would be interested to know how many players there are in CC

It is very close to it.

It is just I like football more, but I still like tennis thats why I played for six years or so.
debra79 wrote:I generally prefer to play from the baseline, don't usually come to the net too often, though I am a pretty good volleyer. I also prefer playing doubles to singles and I pretty much run down every ball possible.

debra79 wrote:My shots aren't very powerful as I damaged the ligaments in my shoulder when I was younger (trying to go for a smash my shoulder popped out of its socket and it's never been the same since), but I've lost no greater than 10% of my entire service games purely 'cause I have some natural left handed wacky spin happening

debra79 wrote:Yeah I hold the club like a right hander thenIt's only because in Primary School the Phys Ed teacher only showed us how to play cricket like a right hander, so anything involving using a club or a bat or racquet - whatever - I tend to do like a righty.
