Camaro? ĀæQue?

you know. 'camaro'. the whole point of this thread.
you misunderstood initially and thought it said 'corsa'.

I'm not sure exactly how you mean this, but if you're accusing me of attempting to de-rail this thread then, yes, you're probably right, I came close to switching the subject from Camaros to Corsas, which would have been wrong. Of course, the fact that it would have been left at one post or two, until you replied to mine, is neither here nor there.

Anyway, you can rest assured I won't reciprocate in future by looking over your posts as closely as you do mine.

non-reciprocation would be rude. and i have now decide that this thread has no need of my input, seeing as i have no bloody idea what a camaro is.
except one of the transformers apparently.

Awesome.
400-hp LS2 6.0 liter V-8
Looks real sleek & powerful.
http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/

I had a '78 (my first car) and a '79 Z28.
I was saddened when they discontinued it a few years ago.
Glad to see it coming back. I think the Mustang & the Charger have something to worry about.

"Kyoto protocol? What's that?"

I have an '03 Durango & an '04 Explorer
The Kyoto Protocol had little effect on my gas consumption.
Come to think of it, I probably cancel out 15-20 Teslas "savings" with my 2 SUV's!!
he he he........
So that means with only $60k invested in my 2 trucks, I can cancel out $1.5-$2.0 million in investments in Teslas?
Now THAT'S cool.

So, I looked that up on Wikipedia, and it says:

I do believe I have the last laugh.
I don't know if you've gone drinking with Joe Beevers and will not be returning but in case you care to know...

The 16v you have is refering to valves, there are 4 per cylinder, as it is a 4 cylinder engine that's 16 total.

Wikipedia is refering to V16 or an engine in the V configuration with 16 cylinders. Traditionally they would be a 32valve.

... I miss being able to pop the hood and knowing what I'm looking at.

... Need a freakin' engineering degree to figure out what's going on under the hood these days.

... You wanna' see some small cars? Come to Japan... I've seen bikes as big as some of these cars.

I drive currently an '89 Camaro RS, 5.0 V8 around 320 horsies. It'll get up but it eats gas big time.

I'm not complaining about the price of gas. When compared to the price of bottled water, its a good deal.

I like the car and call me crazy but something about it reminds me of the new Mustangs. I can't place my finger on it though.

I think its the front end.
The Charger went with the same "open" front end look. Bringin' back the muscle car look of the '60's and early '70's.
I like it personally, better than the last body style that came out in the early '90's.
heavycola wrote:That it's a pointless waste of money?

Not at all.
Depends on your tastes.
What are your enthusiasms, if any?
Lets take, oh.......spamming for example.
Now I don't need a $8,500 top of the line PC to spam on CC, but it would be a nice luxury to have it, wouldn't it? If you could afford whatever the best spamming PC there is on the market, you wouldn't buy it? I think so; and some would probably say:

No, I'd like to meet this Joe Beevers fellow, but anyway, I'm buggered if I know anything about cars. That's not what I said to the salesman, but he could probably tell anyway.
