Yeah, 2 Dimes had it right. There was no dock or launch point for the boat, and we didn't have any oars either. So we had to walk into the river for about 6-8 feet while pushing the boat out, where it got a few feet deep so we could start the prop. Then we just climbed into the boat and took off.

It's not fashionable, but does that really matter when you catch 140 salmon in about 6 hours?

That is what my family do with our boat, because there's not really a dock, just a launch pad. We don't use these.. bad fashionable boots.

And 140 salmon in 6 hours? :shock: Wow.

We don't sell them, we freeze them and eat fish once or twice a week for the year.
But down in the lower 48, Copper River red salmon sells for $15/lb.

Hehe, you're right, we only caught 139. I didn't take pictures of them all, but here's one of the ice chests full of reds. I think the final count was 129 red salmon, and 10 king salmon.
