Game 6 update: Canby wins 5 straight maps which leads to three touchdowns in the third quarter to erase a 17-0 deficit against Grant and take a 24-17 lead into the fourth quarter.

A pair of Game 6 finals.

Canby beats Grant 34-27 when RB1 makes an 8-yard touchdown grab with 0:06 left in the game. The Cougars went 62 yards in 2:04 on their winning drive.

Canby QB completed 19-for-36 passes for 184 yards and four touchdowns.

Grant had tied the score at 24-24 on a short touchdown run with about five minutes to play.

And the other final has Summit scoring a 27-10 win over Forest Grove to vault to first place in the Cascades Division.

The Storm trailed through the early stages of the game before taking a 13-10 lead into the halftime locker room. But the Storm won seven straight maps to take command of the score, led by RB1 with 19 carries for 104 yards and a clinching touchdown late in the third quarter.

Another Week 6 final...Beaverton wins a defensive battle 10-6 over North Medford, closing out the victory by winning the final three maps to protect its lead down the stretch.

North Medford drove to the Beaverton 34-yard line late in the game, but missed a long field goal try.

The teams combined to convert only 3 of 21 third down plays.

Beaverton's WR2 hauled in a 14-yard touchdown pass on the opening drive of the game for the only trip to the end zone by either team.

Another Week 6 final.
In a thriller Jesuit beats Barlow 23-17 in overtime. The Crusaders came back from 17-7 down to start the fourth quarter, getting a 31-yard fumble return for a touchdown and a 29-yard field goal to tie the game with 4:24 to play.

Both sides missed long field goal tries that could have won it down the stretch, and after another long Barlow miss to start OT, Jesuit's WR1 caught a 14-yard touchdown pass for the winning score.

The Crusaders won 5 of the last 6 maps to power their comeback.

Another Week 6 final.
Franklin struck first, but Bend rallied for a 27-7 win.

Three touchdowns in the second quarter turned the tide, and the Lava Bears added a pair of second-half field goals to pad the lead.

WR1 did most of the damage in the passing game with eight catches for 87 yards and a TD, while RB1 scored twice.

A couple more Week 6 finals...

The most exciting finish so far had Polk pull off a 20-14 win over Lakeridge.
The teams traded leads a couple of times with Polk's QB finding WR1 for a 23-yard touchdown late in the third quarter for what proved to be the winning points.

The Panthers had chances to build their lead in the 4th, but missed a pair of long field goals.

Lakeridge put together a 9-play drive in the two-minute drill, but was tackled at the 1-yard line as time expired.

In another final, Tigard scored a 29-10 win over Gresham, making three trips to the end zone in the first quarter for a big early lead. In a side note, the Tigers also converted the season's longest field goal by drilling a 50-yarder late in the third quarter.

All Week 6 games are final... getting Game 7s update Sunday.

A couple of running clock games to finish out the Week 6 set.

Sherwood beat South Salem 37-0 with its QB completing 23 of 34 passes for 259 yards and five touchdowns. And 18-yard screen pass to the RB1 put the game into running clock mode for the final five minutes.

And Central Catholic scored a 40-0 win over Grants Pass, led by RB1 with 22 carries for a season-high 156 yards. RB1 scored two touchdowns in the first quarter for an early lead. The Rams were also 2-for-2 on field goal tries, including a make from 45-yards out.
