2. Play one-on-one games with the accomplice and lose them all, until you have a score of 20 or less. (This will go faster with a second accomplice to drive down the score of the accomplice who you play.)
3. Play a 6-player game with 5 players who have an average score of at least 1000 and win. If you lose, keep playing 6-player games until you win one. Because of the score formula, you will suck up ALL of your opponents' points, leaving them at 0 and you at their combined total. Congratulations, you're a Field Marshall!
Okay, so they're not actually easy steps, especially #2. Still, it seems like a flaw in the scoring system that driving your score down can actually get you to a *higher* ranking than you would get otherwise. And the idea of getting 5000 points from one game is so funny I couldn't help posting it.
