It wasn't some town in Canada, it was some town in Georgia. (The American Georgia, not the Transcaucasian Republic.)
Just because I got the story from a Canadian newspaper doesn't mean you couldn't have spent 10 seconds googling and finding a story from a newspaper down your way.
However, in
actually Canadian news, the mayor of Toronto resigned in the middle of the night after the Toronto Star reported that he was fucking his secretary. Which is bizarre to me. What's the point of being mayor if you're not getting an extra piece of ass here and there?
For balance, I tried to get an American newspaper story about it. New York Times has it, but that's behind a paywall. So I clicked on a paper called PA Now, assuming it would be in Pennsylvania, but actually it turns out that the PA referenced is Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Oh well, I tried.
