Little Mermaid Casting Perpetuates Gingerism Bias

I guess this may have been out for awhile but I just found out.

Apparently Disney has no problem perpetuating gingeristic views that exclude people from Hollywood success.

In a move that (at first glance) appears ‘diverse’ Disney has cast mixed-race actor Halle Bailey in the lead role as Ariel in their live-action remake of the classic Disney animated movie “The Little Mermaid”.



I’m not knocking this young actress who I’m sure is very talented. I do however question Disney’s motive and decision, as Gingers are definitely underrepresented in Hollywood. We all know that Gingers must live in a world were bias against them is an everyday occurrence. People think nothing of Swiping Left when they see a true redhead, and no one ever gets canceled for using the phrase “red headed step child”. Young gingers NEED Hollywood to step up and show them positive role models, or else we are dooming another generation of “carrot tops” to mediocrity.

Worse, though natural red heads are scorned red “highlights” are more popular than ever. Disney is doubling-down on this by having Halle’s hair colored adding a tint of red to her naturally beautiful black hair. This is reminiscent of white actors donning blackface, something that is guaranteed to get one “cancelled” in our modern society.



I may start a GoFundMe… “Save the Gingers” to provide emotional support to young gingers everywhere who now feel worthless and scorned by Disney and Hollywood.

I've been seeing a lot of representation in media lately. Like you've got Archie in the show "Riverdale" --

I have friends who are Sodomites and in the Sodomite community there's this British show on Netflix Heartstopper about UK high school Sodomites that's really popular. I watched it and it was okay but the main character, who is like supposed to be the heart throb all the gays are after and is this rugby star, has red hair and it was treated matter-of-factly. Like it was not mentioned at all, unlike Riverdale where they constantly bring it up.

Lemoine had been tasked with seeing if the LaMDA’s programming showed any tendencies toward hate speech or discrimination in conversation with the average person, the way other chatbots are wont to do. He has since been put on leave from the company,

It’s not clear if he found any of those tendencies with LaMDA. Instead he’s claimed in multiple interviews that he found some kind of proof of sentience.
