At the very least the rest of us would have one less ignorant racist to deal with.

I find it interesting how most people focus on what seem to be big issues and completely miss the real challenges.

We have had riots and yet race-riots in this country since its’ inception… prior to its’ inception really. These are not new. I can only go by what I’ve read in history books, but I’m pretty sure recent events aren’t even the worst. They “feel” bad because 24/7 news coverage and video images… both of which are fairly new.

Not all riots, and in facts I’d suggest most riots, are based on economic issues and if they have a racial component it’s only a veneer. Look at riots in the Revolutionary War period, or during the Labor Movement Era. I’d bet most “Black” people don’t give a flying f*ck what “White” people think of them really… they just want a fair share of the pie and equal opportunity.

The real problems we face are….
- decreasing privacy with Gov’t and Corporations just having to much access to our private lives.
- increased wealth disparity… though this might be cyclical and self-correcting
- political divisions and lack of universally trusted news/information sources (also possible self-correcting)
- disintegration of political / social norms amongst our political “leaders” which leads to gridlock and a failure to properly recognize and reflect the will of the people

I was once challenged to correct the grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax errors made by ConFedSS in a post. WoW......THAT took WAY TOO Much of my time. It was NOT worth the effort. And Besides, I comprehend him most of the time, so that effort was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH my time or effort.
