Saxi⦠your bending of stats has long been a well known trope in this forum⦠but usually you do a better job disguising your bullshit.
If you want to parse out different types of gun violence fine⦠but this focus on this āactive shooterā definition youāve been fed by the NRA is lame. Sure, exclude suicides⦠exclude accidental deaths from guns⦠exclude gang-on-gang violence⦠exclude death by police shootings⦠exclude domestic violence shootings.
Even when you exclude all these other deaths⦠the simple fact is that our numbers in the US are astounding. Too many young innocent children have been shot, and people like you just donāt give a f*ck. Itās not just sad, itās disgusting.

The price of a low homicide rate is living in terror and tyranny where the strongest make the rules.

As opposed to America which is completely crime free right?

As opposed to America which is completely crime free right?
The fact is, in virtually every category of crime except homicide, New Zealand surpasses the United States.

You say this as fact, and then site a source THAT DOESN'T SUPPORT THAT AT ALL! THE LIST COPIED FROM YOUR SOURCE:
Homicide US 5 , NZ 1.5 USA IS HIGHER
Rape NZ 30.6 , US 28.6
Robbery US 133 , NZ 52 USA IS HIGHER
Assault US 262 , NZ 23 USA IS HIGHER
Burglary (NON-VIOLENT) NZ 1386 , 715 US
so out of the 5 categories US is worse in 3 of them, it direct contrast to your claim that "in virtually every category of crime except homicide, New Zealand surpasses the United States."
Also US jails 2250% as many people per capita. Currently the amount of people in prison in the USA is equal to about 30% of NZ's total population (1.5m vs 5m).
Lazy Saxi, read your own sources in the future before posting

Isn't this part of the problem? When someone doesn't agree with others they get called the radical left or the radical right. I feel it isn't a discussion anymore when you start calling people names.ConfederateSS wrote:------------- Just think if there where as many BIBLES or other books of Faith...As Guns...So Americans could be raised on the right path...If guns cross one's path...One would know the responsibility of handling and owning one...
So are you saying the gun rights advocates don't have enough bibles? Or should I say gun owners?

That law would be roundly opposed by both gun control and gun rights advocates.
It would essentially end mass shootings.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Monday that his government is introducing legislation to "implement national freeze on handgun ownership" throughout the country.
"What this means is that it will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer, or import handguns anywhere in Canada," Trudeau said at a press conference.
The legislation will also create new red flag laws that will allow courts to remove guns and suspend licenses for people who pose a threat to themselves or others. Magazines that hold more than five rounds will also be banned under the new laws
