here's something that'd be easier with a touchpad

Taking three turns one of them where you have a set of cards that you cannot play because of the lack of cursor

rule of thumb: 95% computer problems are solved with a restart... did you reboot your computer?

always always when something doesn't work.. reboot... then try anything else..


if it's plugged in properly, has batteries, and still doesn't work after restart, then follow Xenhu's instructions, if the mouse is not there... then look for the drivers..

touchpads suck... I cannot think of any thing you do on a computer that would be easier with a touchpad

I do.

1) Mess up

2) click on links accidently.

3) press trash accidently

4) Bomb computer

i've always used a wheel mouse, and it never doesn't work, and it seems people only complain about those laser mouses.

I disagree. Wheel mouses are very annoying, as I used to have one and it use to always muck up. As I don't like using a mouse-pad, the annoyance (SP?) was double-fold.
The laser mouse I believe is pretty good, and the battery mouse I just kinda don't like.
