After 3.5 days deliberation, a jury has absolved Kyle Rittenhouse on all counts. Rittenhouse had been charged with three counts of shooting Democrats: one was a convicted child molester, one was a convicted rapist, and one was carrying an illegal handgun.

Democrats are preparing to peacefully protest Kenosha, Wisconsin into a pile of ashes.

Biden has pledged to build Kenosha back better as soon as his supporters have finished burning it down.

---------FALSE...not you Big Raf...But I wish everyone would stop saying that...One American shot at 4 Americans attackers and One American reporter almost got hit...Well that was his own risk for reporting...Meguiness...Almost hit by stray bullet...When Rittenhouse fired 2 shots at Jump Kick Man...who kicked Rittenhouse in the face when he was on the ground...He was black , but more important an attacker , but Rittenhouse missed him with both shots...The DA knew who this person was...Like The guy with Rosenbaulm...The DA didn't want him to testify , the DA didn't reveal his identity..Jump kick man's name is Muarice Freeland...So the 5 counts read not guilty...4 white and 1 black ...But when Rittenhouse missed Jump kick man...those bullets or one of them almost hit Meguiness...On top of that , not shot at , but the man who hit Rittenhouse in the back of the head with a rock in his hand , knocking Rittenhouse's hat off causing Rittenhouse to lose his balance and fall to the ground...Which became event 2...We will call him Rock man...was black...

Not really surprised, but disappointed, yes.

He was under attack, but the point is he deliberately put himself in a position where he would be under attack. I think the moral culpability is his, even if by the letter of the law he's free and clear.

Oh...and the breaking windows? That was in SE, not SW (other side of the river). Luckily, in SE, the streets are lined with homeless camps so lots of urine and garbage is available for ammo. And broken windows match the fucking squalor that is inner SE.

So fucking glad I don't work down there any more. It was cool in the 80s.

In Portland, police declared a riot Friday night, saying a group of 10 to 20 people forced open a jail gate and tried to breach the city's Justice Center threatening to "burn it down." Police said a sergeant's car window was broken, along with the windows of a print shop. One arrest was made, as well as five citations and 17 warnings.

Protesters in Brooklyn briefly shut down the Brooklyn Bridge Friday night. Hundreds of protesters gathered at a number of demonstrations in New York City, including outside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where signs with the words "No Justice in the Capitalist Courts" and "Only Revolution Can Bring Justice" waved above heads.

The New York Police Department tweeted a photo Friday night of a shattered car window and a car with graffiti spray painted across its back.

"The NYPD takes its responsibility to protect the 1st amendment rights of peaceful demonstrators seriously," the tweet said. "Just as important is the safety of NYers & the protection of property from people breaking the law in the name of protest."

If the Democrats can only get 400 people in a country of 330 million to turn-out to protest a trial they've amped-up for a year and which all their leaders have commented on, I'd say these - and every midterm in the future - look more dire for them than anyone previously imagined.
