Good news!
The judge in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial on Friday said he'll instruct the jury that unless the state proved the teen's AR-15-style rifle had an unlawfully short barrel, he can't be convicted of being a minor in possession of a firearm.
No such evidence was introduced, so it seems likely Rittenhouse will be acquitted on the one charge that seemed obvious to everyone but his lawyers who challenged it from the very start. It might not even get to the jury.

Nice! Well then I'll be expecting acquittal on all charges. Hopefully I'm not wrong, or we might have a bunch of 'Retard Righties' try and protest and end up getting shot by upstanding lefties with AR's trying to protect local business' from rioters
(Gregory and Travis McMichael are guilty as f*ck fwiw)
Since Mookie mentioned THEM:
Brunswick, Georgia (CNN)A Glynn County Police Department detective testified Tuesday in the trial over Ahmaud Arbery's killing that Gregory McMichael, one of the three White men charged, told him he never saw Arbery commit a crime.
Detective Parker Marcy was the prosecution's sixth witness in the trial.
Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man, was out for a jog on February 23, 2020, near Brunswick, Georgia, when he was shot and killed. McMichael, his son Travis McMichael and William "Roddie" Bryan Jr. are accused of chasing and killing him.
Defense attorneys contend their clients were trying to conduct a lawful citizen's arrest of Arbery, whom they suspected of burglary after they and several neighbors became concerned about individuals entering a home under construction. The defense contends Travis McMichael shot Arbery in self-defense, as Arbery and Travis McMichael wrestled over McMichael's shotgun.

But one never knows beforehand the outcome of a trial, especially a Jury Trial. And I have been on a two juries, so I know a BIT about that aspect of our legal and justice system.
KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — The jury at Kyle Rittenhouse’s murder trial deliberated a full day on Tuesday without reaching a verdict over whether he was the instigator in a night of bloodshed in Kenosha or a concerned citizen who came under attack while trying to protect property.
The case went to the anonymous jury after the judge, in an unusual move, allowed Rittenhouse himself to play a minor role in the selection of the final panel of 12 people whose job was to decide his fate.
Rittenhouse reached into a raffle drum and drew numbered slips that determined which of the 18 jurors who sat through the case would deliberate and which ones would be dismissed as alternates.
That task is usually performed by a court clerk, not the defendant. Judge Bruce Schroeder said later in the day that he has been having defendants do it for “I’m going to say 20 years, at least.”
