American soldiers are now opening fire at Afghan civilians to keep them off the runways. Biden has ordered US troops to stop all commercial flights so the diplomats he didn't evacuate earlier can get out. This has doomed thousands of Afghans to certain death and they are now panicked and hysterical.

People on Twitter have just noticed that the photo the White House sent out to show Old Joe was in control is actually several months old. The White House was caught spreading disinformation by pretending the photo was from today. The clocks between London and Moscow are three hours apart but, outside Daylight Savings Time, London and Moscow are only two hours apart. This is apparently to hide Joe's worsening mental state and may confirm rumors he's being tranquilized due to his deteriorating health in the aftermath of the Kabul shock.

I want our troops out.

Yes. If Obama-Biden had pulled them out in 2009 the Taliban would have overrun the country but we'd have saved $200 billion and numerous lives. They didn't and we're going to end up in the exact same position with a Taliban-run Afghanistan; but $200 billion and numerous lives wasted.

Yup. And if Bush-Cheney hadn't sent them there in the first place you'd have saved even more.

On one hand, I can somewhat justify the US involvement in Afghanistan to get Bin Laden. Once Bin Laden was killed, the US should have started to withdraw soon thereafter and the let the Afghanis go back to the tribal wars they have been fighting for some 1000+ years. The US was there far too long.

BUT there was NO justification in my mind for the US to go into Iraq and get rid of Saddam Hussein. Yes Saddam was terrible to the Iraqi people (Kurds and Shiites), or most of them, and yes, his sons were even more cruel, but those reasons do not justify the war to get rid of a country's ruler.

I agree with both Duk and Saxi on this one. How OFTEN does THAT occur...????

The only questions now are 1) US death and wounded; 2) Allies death and wounded; 3) Amount of US dollars spent and wasted on a STOOOPID war effort, especially after we got Bin Laden; 4) # of Afghanis killed and wounded to get the USA OUT of where we DID NOT BELONG.
