I can't pick 2 and 3 were really fun, but if you want to play newer games 6 and 8 would be ulimately good choices.

ACtually it doesn't matter, 2, 3, 6, 8 are good. ANy of them will work except 5. Which brought shame to the series.

8 is the one of the wii right? I havnt tried that one yet but I liked 7. The mic thing on 6 was really stupid. It didnt even work quite right. 2 and 3 were pretty good. They had the best minigames by far. They also had cool costumes. I never trued the origanal. Overall I have to say that 3 was the best.

I think everyone here so far argees 2 and 3 was the prime of the series. I'll give my ratings for each of them.

I liked it. IT was EASY! The mic games were the better ones, when it worked.

#1: Good, but I barely played it, not as interesting compaired to the rest. 8/10

#2: Another one of the great N64 games, I started out, with. Like the rest of them I spent hours on this games. IT was awesome. 9.5/10

#3: I got this one later, but it was still very awesome. 9/5/10

#4: A decline, but it still was good, I got it at the same time as 1, 3, 4, and 5. 8.5/10

#5: The game mazazine was Right. This game SUCKED! Put in the gay orbs, and make it so it's so easy to get them. 2/10

#6: A good comeback, it made getting orbs, actually ok, and not after very move. <_< The mic was good when it worked. 9.5/10

#7: #6 remake. 8.5/10

#8: I've barely played it, but so far, really good. 9.5/10

with that said, I believe mario party is the casual nintendo gamer's game, I like more hardcore nintendo games...

HA HA! I have it. But I barely played it due to Pokemon Diamond.

Though Mario Party is going in a decline. Paper Mario, in a way is too, because I like the new way, but I still want the old way.

I never heard of Mario Party. I remember the original Marios, when they first came out on Nintendo.

I've only played the original mario party and it is a classic. In fact the only console I've got is an N64 . Had it for over 11 years now and its still just as great as it was when I first got it.
