I don't know what episode 6 is. I watched episode 14 with the spoilers there because it was released today. Trump wasn't in it.

I just looked. They are calling them chapters, 14 is the one they seem to be taking about. It is possibly the best.

I am still a bit excited how often the next episode has been better than the rest. Especially since it started out so strong.

mmm...i dunno about them getting progressively better & better, 2dimes. imo, there have been a few clunkers this season & the "filler" episodes from last season weren't all that great. still, i'd rather watch the crappiest mando episode than any of the films in the last trilogy.

I hate Star Wars. Dull, dull, overhyped. The best thing was the tongue-in-cheek Lego series. Now that was funny.

I pretty much agree with you.

I did not say they get progressively better each episode. I agree that not every one is better.

There was one for sure that was not up to par with the rest. There have also been a few that were just ok. I definately agree I enjoy the series more that any of the movies and I like the movies.

I'm just surprised that more that three times a new chapter had been the best episode yet, by a pretty good margin too.

Honestly... i just find the mandalorian alright. I'm not freaking out to see the next episode or wondering what will happen next, nor getting a 100% attention throughout an entire episode like other shows in the past got me into. I just watch it like in a "meh" mode... the stories have nothing excetional, it's more graphically appealing... nothing more.
I did prefer the movies.. i guess it all depends of your state of mind while watching.
Episode 7: thought it was quite good... hated 1-2-3 and thought 7 was a bit better than the prequels.
Rogue one: i thought it was really good
Episode 8: i heard so much terrible shit... and things went quite differently than the obvious things you thought could come out of it... i was favourably surprised
Solo: i heard it was the worse shit ever... i expected the worse shit ever and it was way better than i expected
Episode 9: meh. I heard it was quite good but i didn't think it was the case.

I have seen them all just once... and from what i remember, the one i liked best of the disney movies was probably rogue one... then maybe episode 8. Again... the context in which i saw them all (theaters or not and with who) change my perception.

Yeah, Solo is quite excellent. I just can't ever forgive them for not getting someone who could act like Han Solo to play Han Solo. It took me a long time to give in and watch it. Poor Hobie Doyle, he might never get a role that big ever again.

Danny Glover played young Lando like Lando. I don't even know any other Billy Dee roles but he made Lando.

They somehow didn't even realize it was an inter galactic mistake until the movie was released. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-ente ... 54100.html

Maybe he never saw Han Solo in Star Wars. Ron Howard and Woody couldn't even fix it.

It's not like making a movie about Uncle Owen. Or having different actors playing little kid Aniken and Emo make everyone wanna puke Aniken. You can do that.

Look at how difficult it is for people to seperate Grogu from Yoda. They're still calling him "Baby Yoda".

I don't know if Harrison Ford is my favorite actor but he is one of them. They should have cast Will Farrel, he could have done it.

Rogue One might be the best of the movies for grown ups that want a bit more drama. I find it amusing that people came up with the Beze and Chirrut are milking each other instead of brothers in arms, theory.

Disney is planning to do a bunch of these series shows now. Obi Wan, Lando, Andor, Asoka...

They're even doing a Willow re-boot. Hopefully some of it's good. I don't have huge expectations though.

sounds like too much product, imo. would rather they focused on making less, real good stuff, as opposed to just oversaturating the market w/a bunch of crap.

Agreed.

I suppose as long as The Mandalorian stays mostly good, they can do whatever they like.

Yeah chapter 15 was another excellent one. I don't think it topped chapter 14 but it might be close to equal. They are pretty connected as well.

Do we know more about the sword that the bad guy showed baby yoda yet?

Was it just a black light saber? It looked like something.... different
