Clans/Tribes?

I've read through both and can't tell the difference between a clan and a tribe. I know clans have been a long-standing feature since I joined more than 10 years ago?
Current tourneys -- 2025 High School Football, 2025 NFL season, 2025 Little League World Series, Punch Out Boxing, Down Under, 2025 MLS season, 2025 MLB season, 2025 WNBA, 4 Star Meats Best of 7.

clans are team games, tribes are 1 v1/poly games played within a team setting. Like team racing - each players wins count towards an overall score.

thank you for the clarification. I may try to set up a tribal tournament event in the near future.
