alright ya'll, here is some dice probability for you'z. I don't know if someone has done this somewhere on the forums....
2 man country attacks 1 man country ------ attacker loses 58.3% of the time (1 dice vs 1 dice)
2 army country attacks 2 army defending country ----- attacker loses .745 armies per roll (defender .255) (1 dice vs 2)
3 army country (2 dice) attacks 1 army defender --- attacker looses .42 armies per turn
2 attacking dice vs 2 defending ---- attacker looses 1.22 --- defender loses .778 armies per roll.
When you have 3 dice vs 1 dice, you will win in one roll 66% of the time, loosing .34 armies per roll.
When it is the classic 3 dice vs 2 dice here is the breakdown:
Both sides loose 1 army 33.57% of the time.
Attacker looses 2 armies 29.25% of the time.
Defender looses 2 armies 37.16% of the time.
So, attacker looses 0.92 guys per roll, defender looses 1.079 guys per roll, the attacker looses troops 15% SLOWER, and therefore has the advantage.
Hope it helps
