Then you're not running fast enough.

Not only physically, but I'd argue that cross country is also one of the most mentally challenging sports as well.

I gotta admit, thinking about running can be a tiring aspect to life lol

I prefer to think about walking, with an occaisional day dream about a certain baked object with frosting...

yeah, it takes alot of mental toughness to remember how to run. But in wrestling you have moves and positions to learn.

I refuse to call that a sport lol

Soccer is the most physically demanding sport out there...even more so than ultimate

Ultimate is not that demanding.

WRONG. When played competitively (I do, anybody else?) you can run up to five miles a game. Fast, too.

Why would anyone want to run five miles to catch a frisbee?

Thats cool if your into it, but not as exciting for myself...

And no, frisbee is not a sport. Ultimate is, (but why does organization define a sport? before they become organized, are more popular sports sport? and nobody follows track, but that doesn't make it not a sport)
Anybody who watches an ultimate match played between two quality opponents and doesen't think it's a sport is just deluding themselves.

heres a pretty sick video of a good highschool team that my team has played a few times. THere pretty gnarly - the year this video was made they beat us twice soundly. Check it out, the first 3 minutes or so are the best.

Wrestling is a sport of technique and strength, Cross Country is a sport of mettle and strength. It's not so much a matter of remembering to run as much as one of convincing yourself to in as fast a manner as possible for 15 straight minutes.

I will give you this: cross country meet = a national champion wrestler vs. and third grader. You are about as tired as the national champ.

from that video it looks like ultimate is a pretty cool sport, but when I play it (locally, unorganized) it gets pretty boring...too many people and only one frisbee...and not everyone knew how to throw or catch a frisbee.

for large groups of people I really prefer dodge ball, there is more than one ball, and the focus is more on individual skill, basically whichever team has the most athletic members (in both throwing and dodging) wins, and everyone has a chance to have fun, not just "whoever catches/throws the touchdown"...

ultimate is a sport for sure,
here is a definition to prove it

an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature

Though there are expectation to the rules.

Ive played poker before, and alot like this game, there isnt a whole lot of skill required. It is mostly luck with the only skill being to show no expression, which would make staring contests a sport as well.

Id also include any type of driving sport because although it requires skills, there is no "athletic activity".

i dont include driving as a sport because you are just pushing a pedal. Ultimate is a sport is because you are running, catching and throwing-all athletic for sure.
