The biggest problem from Covid-19 patients clogging the hospitals is people going for other more routine, more successful treatments may not get the treatment,or if they do they may not get the level of care they typically would.

If you are healthy, you only need to wear a mask if you are taking care of a person with suspected 2019-nCoV infection.
