So, here's an interesting idea

I'm a Christian. I love Jesus, I love the Bible, etc etc

Most of the world practices Islam

What if, we all become Muslim on our own terms? We recognize there's one God and that Jesus and Muhammad exist as prophets

Could we accept on some scale, even the slightest modicum that we could live under one premise?

So I'm just spit ballin' here, here would be my hypothetical Islam to save the world:

I'd pray to God. I'd call him Allah because, why not

On the inside, written on my heart I'd pray to Jesus. I'd mention the prophet Mohammed who existed, and Id read the Koran an as a historical document document more or less

I'd pray 5 times a day to the God of Isaac

So in reality, all I'm doing is praying more, recognizing a historical document and figure, and instead of saying God I'd say Allah

Everyone has the free will to choose to follow and accept me or not. Many have chosen to not accept me.

The trouble is, it's not "most of the world."

31% of the world are (at least nominally) Christian
24% of the world are (at least nominally) Muslim
16% are atheist or agnostic
15% are Hindu
7% are Buddhist
Beyond that, tons of communities are Jewish, Sikh, Jain, or practice their traditional religions

Even if you could close the gap between Christians and Muslims, what would that do for the 45% of the world who are neither of those?

But the news gets worse, because even these religions are not monolithic wholes. Among Christians, 50% are Catholic, 35% are Protestant, 15% are Orthodox or some other sect. Among Muslims, about 87% are Sunni, 11% are Shia, and there are also smaller sects. The rifts between Protestant and Catholic, and the rifts between Sunni and Shia, are in some ways just as wide as the rifts between Christianity and Islam. Christians fought brutal and bloody wars for hundreds of years over relatively minor points of disagreement. Today, Sunni and Shia are having their wars. I don't see much hope for closing the gap between any of these.

Really, the only hope for world peace is secular humanism. Once we can accept that religion is just entertaining nonsense, we can stop killing each other over it.

He is the only one who does not judge.

He is like a lawyer, except one who pays any fine, then convinces the court to waive the other penalties because I was in a position where I was unable to avoid my crimes.

The rest of the universe will be like the jury to judge us.

Those that judge will include Muslims, ask yourself how lenient those guys are going to be.

Christianity, Islam and Judaism are all just sects of the same religion anyway. Same god, same prophets, same belief system and moral codes.

The sort of people who will fight each other over Christianity v Islam are the same sort of people who would fight each other over Catholic v Protestant, or French v German, or black v white, or McDonald's v Burger King. The fact they seek out conflict with other people based on arbitrary lines in the sand is a symptom, not the disease.

Jesus chooses who goes and who stays behind because he chooses who to defend.

The wrathful God of the Old Testament told Ezekiel that "they judge thee."

In Christianity, all acts occurring in the material plane of existence are within the complete jurisdiction and authority of humans to judge.

In, "patching over" ( like a one percent motorcycle gang) we'd flip the kill switch to off on our citizens abroad and at home and they would fight non-Muslims else where

Nothing would change in America. It would be a perspective change. The destination of your soul is ultimately yours as your relationship with God, Jesus, or whomever is yours. If you're athiest then this would be a game of pretend in and a thought experiment as a later of protection
