I do sometime wish that some Cosmic being would just magically scoop us all up from whatever computer we’re sitting in front of and drop us into an arena of some kind. i suspect you wouldn’t last very long in that scenario Nomad. Either that or you’d finally shut up.

We are not that far removed from when that brutality was a necessary trait for survival. Technology has domesticated civilians into being a different kind of hunters and protectors

The animal that was needed back then still lies within us and is expressed through power and control of society and business

We are still cruel, selfish, and pretty animals as can be seen through the difference of 1st and 3rd world countries and war

So you’re commenting on society... just saying how things ARE, and not necessarily how they should be?

It’s likely you’ve grown up in a world quite different form the one I grew up in... but we still aren’t cave-men, nor (IMHO) should we strive for that.
