I'm a purple pill but do understand the age we live in. Technology allowed us access to having sex as a form of pleasure instead of pure necessity as function

Polygamy was a essential practice before modern medicine if you had the means to provide and protect

So what I'm saying is men are hard wired to pass our our seed to as many women as possible as a way to further our species and that birth control has unintentionally lead to the malfunctioning of monogamy

This is all true as long as there is attraction and accessibility. There is a reason some men are considered incels which would be an outlier

I believe a more sexually free/less possessive society would eliminate these outliers until technology catches up
